Ok, so today's achievement is running (without stopping) 12km at the gym. Running on a treadmill, 9km per hour, while watching Brad Pitt pretending to be Achilles in Troy. I felt a bit flakey at around the 9km mark, probably because lunch was an Onigiri (rice ball). We'd had a bigger breakfast at the cafe before church, but on reflection I probably need a bit more than an onigiri if I am going to run that far. Still, I made it in one piece. I've run 10km a few times before, including last Sunday. There are vague ideas of trying to do a half marathon at some point. Will have to see how things go.
The picture below is from the treadmill. My Nike+ sensor thinks I ran 12km, not the 12.8 that the treadmill thinks. Not sure which is likely to be more accurate.
